Triple Treats

Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter, melted

  • 1 c. white sugar

  • 1 c. brown sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 c. peanut butter

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 2 teaspoons baking soda

  • 1-1/2 teaspoons salt

  • 1-1/2 c. chocolate chips

  • 3 c. flour

Filling

  • 1/2 c. peanut butter

  • 1/3 c. milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 3 c. powdered sugar

Directions

  • In a large mixing bowl, mix butter, white sugar, and brown sugar

  • Then, beat in eggs and peanut butter

  • Add in vanilla, baking soda, salt, chocolate chips, and flour

  • Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes

  • When cool put filling in between two cookies

  • For filling add milk to powdered sugar, mix well, and then add peanut butter and vanilla.

**This batter will be oily- don’t let that scare you!

Here are a few tips when you bake these little gems:

  • Don’t over bake them- a touch golden is okay, but not brown

  • The filling is going to be almost like frosting

  • You don’t need a lot of filling; just enough to put them together like a sandwich

  • I also like to store these cookies in a sealed Tupperware type container.

Oh! One last thing, pour a cold, tall glass of milk to eat with these glorious cookies!
